About Me
Dr. Salsburg hails from Connecticut and is a board-certified pediatrician who has been a pediatrician in the Bay Area since 1999. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at Wellesley College and completed medical school and her pediatrics residency at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. She worked as a registrar at the Sydney Children's Hospital in Sydney, Australia and then returned to the States to practice general pediatrics.
Her professional interest include lactation, caring for children with special needs, and treating children from all socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. She has been a medical staff leader at both Alta Bates and the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland with interests in quality improvement and breastfeeding.
Her other medical activities have included caring for children at the George Mark Children’s House and setting up a medical clinic for previously unhoused young adults.
In her spare time, she enjoys hiking with family and friends, walking along the beach, travelling, watching baseball and baking. She also enjoys attending the musical and theatrical performances of her adult children.
