About Me
Dr. Rosario Santillana is a devoted pediatrician who is dedicated to providing a strong and healthy start for children. She completed her undergraduate studies at Harvard University and earned her medical degree from UC Davis School of Medicine before her residency at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland, where she served a year as Chief Resident. She joined Primary Pediatrics Medical Group in 2024.
A native Spanish speaker and a first-generation immigrant from Lima, Peru, Dr. Santillana brings a unique perspective to her practice. She believes in a holistic approach to well-being and is committed to providing culturally compassionate care. As a pediatrician, she loves seeing her patients grow and particularly enjoys welcoming children and families who have recently immigrated. She is passionate about treating her patients with the same care she would want for her own child, and she values building long-term, collaborative relationships with families to help their children thrive and reach their full potential.
Outside of her medical career, Dr. Santillana is a proud mother to a 1-year-old son, and her experience as a parent enhances her practice as a pediatrician daily. In her free time, you'll find her enjoying the sun at the park or beach with her son and husband.
