About Me
D’Anne is an East Bay native, born and raised in Contra Costa County. After completing her bachelor’s degree in American Studies from UC Santa Cruz, she obtained her RN degree from Samuel Merritt University and began her nursing career at Children’s Hospital in Oakland. After having children of her own, she moved into advice nursing and spent many years providing medical advice and health information to families in our community.
Once her three children became teenagers, she returned to school to pursue her Masters degree and pediatric nurse practitioner training at UCSF. Her areas of clinical interest include children with complex medical needs and health care of LGBTQIA+ youth.
D’Anne is excited to be working at Pinwheel, and caring for children and their families in her home community. In her free time, she enjoys movies, games, and relaxing with family, friends, and her mini goldendoodle Poppy.
