About Me

Dr. Chiang was born in Michigan and spent her early childhood moving around the United States before settling in the South Bay Area, where she completed high school. She earned her undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley and went on to attend Temple University School of Medicine, where she received her medical degree.

Dr. Chiang completed her pediatric residency at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland, becoming board certified in Pediatrics and entering clinical practice in 1996. Her professional interests include childhood development and nutrition across all ages.

Her passion for pediatrics comes from partnering closely with families to optimize children’s health and help build a strong foundation for lifelong wellness. She especially enjoys the joy and energy that her young patients bring, which continues to make her work both meaningful and fun.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Chiang enjoys staying active through exercise and pickleball, spending time in nature, and reading, particularly mystery novels and forensic thrillers. She also loves biographies about top chefs. She and her husband enjoy traveling, especially now that their three children are attending college.
